CONTRACT FOR FINANCING UNDER THE ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION PROGRAM TOWARDS THE NATIONAL RECOVERY AND SUSTAINABILITY PLAN UNDER PROCEDURE BG-RRP-3.006 “CONSTRUCTION OF NEW POWER PLANTS FOR OWN CONSUMPTION IN COMBINATION WITH LOCAL ENERGY STORAGE FACILITIES IN THE ENTERPRISES”
On 28.11.2023, “STELM” Ltd. concluded with the Ministry of Innovation and Growth, General Directorate “European Competitiveness Funds”, a financing contract under the Economic Transformation Program under the National Recovery and Sustainability Plan No. BG-RRP-3.006-0182 -C01 for the project “Construction of new photovoltaic systems for own consumption in combination with batteries” under procedure BG-RRP-3.006 “Construction of new RES for own consumption in combination with local energy storage facilities in enterprises”. The project is financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU through the Recovery and Sustainability Mechanism in implementation of the “Program for Economic Transformation” investment under the “Intelligent Industry” component of the National Recovery and Sustainability Plan. The planned duration is 18 months, and the total value of the project is BGN 170,769.06, of which BGN 85,384.53 is European grant funding.
The goal of the project is to accelerate the company’s transition to climate neutrality, improve energy efficiency and increase the flexibility of the energy system through the development of new energy facilities that address the intermittent nature of this type of energy. Indirectly, the goals of the project will support, on the one hand, the promotion of the private sector towards environmentally friendly activity, and on the other hand, the implementation of the Energy Union’s goals for secure, sustainable, competitive and economically affordable energy will be supported. Investments under the project comply with the requirements of the principle of “not causing significant damage” to the environment. The project also complies with the principle of effectiveness and efficiency, as the permissible activities lead to the achievement of the goal of the procedure with the most adequate ratio between the expected costs and benefits.
CONTRACT FOR GRANT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE CONCLUDED WITH THE MINISTRY OF ECONOMY
The main goals of the project are to provide operating capital for Bulgarian small businesses, which realized a turnover of over BGN 500,000 for 2019, to deal with the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.
